Balance

Dearest Princesses,

Today was a day of being able to balance oneself.

Papa had brought you girls to the zoo for an outing on his own thus he had to split his attention between the two of you. At the Kidzworld, Papa let you, Skyler, play with most of the apparatus there. One of the things you played with was the cableway.

Papa had instructed you to hold on to the cable while sitting on the platform but you insisted on Papa holding onto you even though you could totally hang on on your own. Papa held onto you and walked up and down the cableway once but when you wanted to go again, Papa let you go on your own as Papa didn't want to leave Ashley alone in her stroller at one point for so long. You were totally fine with hanging on to the cable for most of the way but when you realised that Papa wasn't with you, you panicked and let go resulting in you tumbling onto the floor!

Poor Darling Girl! Papa dashed to you and found that you were fine except for a bit of a shock. Thankfully, you weren't very high off the ground. You were totally okay after a very short while and you continued to play with the other equipment at the playground.

What a scare, Lil One! You must really learn to depend on yourself in these kinds of situations, okay?

As for you, Ashley, you were able to take a few steps unaided today. You'd been crawling for sometime and you finally decided to walk around on your own. It's such a great achievement for you! And a bit early too in your development. Good job! But now, we've to worry about where you'll end up if we don't keep a close eye on you.
